The local eatery, located off Beretania near the old Times Supermarket, is where you'll find hardcore customers who still come for the chicken katsu and roast pork.
Koamalu, the war veteran, gets his usual kālua pork and green river drink before he takes his spot in the left corner. An angry young man burst into the establishment, demanding money and threatening to physically assault anyone who did not comply. His name doesn't matter because he wasn't going to live long. Seeing Kaomalu sitting in the corner, the angry young man surmised that the senior citizen had nowhere to run. Slowly, stalking toward him, the angry young man made his demands. "Give me your money, old man, before I fuck you up."Koamalu ignored the angry young man, but suddenly he stopped dead in his tracks. There were small stinging sensations all over his body, and minuscule droplets of blood formed on his skin. Every tiny hair on his body was being plucked out by something that wasn't there.
"I didn't hear you." Koamalu looked at the angry young man. "What did you say?"
"I said, give me all your money before I fucking kill you." Despite his present dilemma, the angry young man remained committed to his intent.
Koamalu's only intent was to sit by himself and have his meal. "This is going to hurt."
Without warning, all the hair on the head and face of the angry young man tore itself out of the flesh. Following that were the hairs on his armpits and on his privates from front to back. The pain was unbearable, and the angry young man fell to the floor in a fetal position. The management staff had already called the police, who would eventually find the angry young man, a complete bloody mess.
Koamalu, being the only witness in the facility, told the police that the angry young man walked in and began pulling all his hair out of his body. The police took him at his word and left. Koamalu got to finish his meal in peace. The management staff was always grateful to Koamalu for being their telekynetic bodyguard.
