The bed covers were slowly pulled off the mattress toward the left corner.
The couple were heavy sleepers, so they felt nothing. By their feet, they were pulled off the bed, then onto the floor, and then out of their bedroom. Down the long hallway they went until they were pulled down the stairs. When their heads bounced off the steps one by one, the spirits hesitated, realizing they'd made a mistake and didn't think the whole thing through. The waiting was torture until they saw that the couple was still fast asleep. Down the stairs they went until the couple was pulled out the front door and left in the driveway, until sunrise. At which point, the couple woke up confused and went back inside. This continued for the next month until the couple, Vince and Doris, finally decided that it was time to find out what was going on. They installed video cameras throughout the house to record overnight. However, every morning when they reviewed the footage from the night before, there was nothing. There was not a single sign of unusual activity, and not a trace of Vince and Doris being dragged anywhere around their home.A short time later, Vince had his brother, Efram, and Efram's wife, Ruby, house-sit for them while Vince and Doris flew to Vegas for a week. While having dinner in the kitchen, Efram and Ruby were physically attacked by nothing. Nothing they could see anyway. The two were slapped, kicked, and tossed around until they finally ran out of the house with just their car keys and cell phones. They called Vince and Doris to inform them of what had happened. Upon reviewing the footage from their cameras remotely, all they saw was Efram and Ruby sitting at the dinner table, having a nice dinner together. There was no assault by unseen entities. Efram and Ruby never went back to the house again, and eventually stopped talking to Vince and Doris altogether. After returning from their Vegas vacation, a strange thing happened that was stranger than what was already happening. Vince and Doris did not wake up in their driveway; they woke up in the middle of the road in front of their house. It was decided there and then that it was time to move out. So, move out they did, but no matter where they moved to, they would always find themselves in the driveway or on the road of their Hawai'i Kai home.
Finally, with no choice left, they went to seek counseling from a priest. When the appointment was made, Vince and Doris drove up to the church and were walking toward the priest's office, when he emerged from a door and called out to them, "Stop! Go cleanse in the ocean before you step foot out of your car! I don't care what beach you go to, just go there and cleanse in the ocean, now!"
Vince and Doris went and did exactly as the priest commanded. "Good," he said when they returned and took a seat in his office. A second later, the police walked into the office and arrested the couple.
"I'm sorry, Vince and Doris, but this was the only way," the priest apologized.
"What is this about, Father?" Vince asked.
"There's video footage of you and your wife, murdering Efram and Ruby right in front of their house as they were walking to their car this morning," the father said sadly. "May God have mercy on your souls, the two of you!"
"That's impossible," Doris protested. "We've been nowhere near the Kunishiges; they live halfway across the island!"
The police then showed Vince and Doris the footage from the CCTV cameras facing the Kunishige's home. Clear as day, Vince and Doris appear walking up the driveway, and they begin mutilating the couple with large kitchen knives.
"That's ridiculous!" Vince protested again. "You can look at the footage from our security cameras at our home! It will clearly show you that we were there!"
Vince brought the video up on his phone and played it for the police. The footage showed Vince and Doris walking into their kitchen, covered in blood. In the video, the couple is seen going to the backyard and washing themselves off with a water hose.
"No! No!" Doris said. "That's not us, we didn't do any of that! We were sitting in the den working on engineering projects on our laptops all night! That's not us!"

"Well, that took forever!" The one spirit said to the other.
"I really didn't want to do that," the other spirit said.
"They were the worst kind of people to have living in our home," the one spirit confirmed. "We had to possess them. We had no choice."
"And make that guy kill his own brother, and sister-in-law??" The other spirit asked.
"I got carried away, I know," the one spirit shrugged.
"Now, what happens?" The other spirit asked again.
"We don't let anyone live here or anyone who tries to make an attempt to live here," the one spirit stated.
"Until they break it down," the other spirit chimed in. "Whoever THEY may be!"
