If you want to get lost in a portal.
If you're curious as to what is on the other side of the portal, and if you have the time, the know-how, the wherewithal, or if you're a loner with nothing to lose, and no one dependent on you, you should try this. Take out a map and find a central location, like in the very middle of the map, and trace every left and right turn you can take while driving your vehicle. Follow those turns until there are no more turns to take, and you will have reached the end. However, you will have also reached your destination. Portal to another side of reality, one that is not of our own. The caveat of the exercise is that it's not for fun. You have to prepare yourself as if you're going away on a long trip if you do decide to drive through the portal. In your mind, you believe that the probability of the Hawaiian islands hosting such ridiculous things as portals is impossible. We are a collection of volcanic islands, one of which remains volcanically active, which also means that we are surrounded by a significant amount of electromagnetic energy and fields that constantly flow through and around us. Now, the notion that portals are an impossibility has become slimmer.Prepare first, I say to you. Don't jump on the bandwagon just because everyone else is doing it; not everyone else is. Did you read the requirements at the top of this story? You should be the kind of person who is willing to be expendable, whether this works out or not. Who knows what's on the other side of a portal? Have I been to the other side of a portal myself, you ask? I'm here telling you this story, aren't I? The map is below. Pick a central meeting point and go from there. No sentiments of good luck here, just the resolve to see it through. Google Maps helps too.
