100 Ghost Stories Counting Down To Halloween 2020 #19

 A bit of the drool is what woke me from my sleep. It had a tinge of a freeze on it when it touched my cheek. The sensation put me in a fetal position;

I shrimped off my bed and fell to the floor with a loud thud. It crawled to the edge of the bed; no eyes, no nose, only a gaping jaw with a black protruding tongue and rows of razor-sharp teeth. The frame of itʻs face was human, with a full head of long black hair tied in a high ponytail like a samurai. The skin appeared to be human-like, except itʻs texture was sandpaper. It was with itʻs skin that it caressed my thigh with the back of its hand and opened up a wound. I jerked my leg away and thrust both my feet upwards, kicking it in the throat. It let out a loud, gagging noise and fell off the other side of my bed. I could hear it choking as it struggled for air, "Tina!" it croaked. "I canʻt breathe! Tina!"

For some reason that I canʻt explain, I ran to my sisterʻs room. When I burst through the door, she was on the floor, hands around her throat. Her eyes were closed, but she kept rasping, "Tina! I canʻt breathe!" She had a waking dream. I ran back into my room and immediately went inside my closet and pulled out my old bowling ball. I struggled to get it over my head, but my arms were already jelly when I did, I let it go and watched as it fell like a ton of dead weight on the creature's face. A nano-second later, my sister let out a horrific scream.
