100 Ghost Stories Counting Down To Halloween 2021 #28

The Venus flytrap lulls you into a false sense of security with its beauty until it's too late, and by the time you realize you've been had, you're screwed.

Cacao was a ne'er do well from Brazil who had spent many years in the Hawaiian islands making a name for himself as a tour bus driver who gave personalized tours to places no one else could venture to. Illegally, of course. The tourists didn't care for the price he charged as long they got their pound of flesh. The local community, however, were reaching their boiling point with Cacao. His vibrant personality, coupled with his who gives a fuck attitude, rubbed many people the wrong way, especially the wrong people. On a flight from Kauai heading back to Honolulu, a local couple sat together with the wife's carry-on placed on a seat next to her. Cacao had a long day bringing his group from Honolulu to Kauai for a weekend of illegal hiking to places closed off, especially Kipū falls. He let his clientele litter, smoke weed, and indulge in open sex in and around the falls. Other sites deemed sacred are where they walked and trampled, knocking over structures or removing thousand-year-old rocks from handset stone walls. Exhausted and ready to return to Oahu, Cacao couldn't deal with someone's carry-on sitting on the only chair available at the gate. He grabbed the bag and threw it on the woman's lap, and dumped himself on the chair next to her. A brawl broke out where the woman's husband rushed Cacao and punched him in the face. Airport security broke it up, and the local man and his wife were allowed on the outgoing flight, and so were Cacao's clients. Cacao himself was thrown into the Kauai jail. When he woke up the following day, he wasn't asleep on the steel slab called a bed. He was at Kipū falls.

"Cacao," a woman's voice called him. He found that he was only a foot from the edge that fell over into the falls below. He looked over and saw a beautiful Hawaiian woman floating in the water. She beckoned to him in Portuguese to come and join her. Telling him how calm the water was. From where he stood, he saw the water was crystal clear and that the woman was naked. So he removed his clothing too and dove in. When he surfaced, he found that he didn't have to swim to her. She was already there, right in front of him. "Cacao," she cooed. "Meu nome é venus." She wrapped her legs around his waist, and he was instantly aroused. When they joined, he let out a gasp, she was hot inside, and it surprised him. Cacao prided himself about being able to last for almost an hour before he finally had his orgasm, but this was different. It was something he wasn't prepared for, and in less than a minute, with a tremendous scream of surprise, he was done. “Meu nome é venus, Cacao,” she cooed. Her eyes suddenly went green and became cat-like. Her tongue became a sharpened black. His cries were never uttered; she'd taken him under by then. Drowning him until his mouth finally opened. It was then she placed her mouth over his and sucked the essence from his soul. The entire time, the caretakers of Kipū stood at the edge of the falls, watching. The moʻo wahine of the falls told Cacao, who she was in his own language, but he was so overcome with lust that he didnʻt get the hint. "My name is Venus," she told him.
